Carmen Electra She was born on April 20, 1972 in White Oak, Ohio near Cincinatti. Carmen is a celebrity performer, American glamour model, television personality, singer, and dancer. Carmen's capabilities were apparent when she was a child. Carmen's birth name was Tara Leigh Patrick but later changed her name when the artist formerly known as Prince told her she looked like a Carmen .Her last name also changed and means a greek goddess. Carmen, now a red hot sexy celebrity, signed on to replace Pamela Anderson on Baywatch.

Family & Early Life

Her mother name was Patricia who was a vocalist and her father name was Harry Patrick who was an entertainer and guitarist .Her mother died of a brain tumor in 1998. Carmen had an older sister named Debbie who died from a heart attack also in 1998. At age five she entered in and won her first dance contest. She went on to be in over 100 tap and ballet contests. Raised in White Oak, Ohio, at the age of nine, she was selected for the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Princeton High School in Sharonville and also attended, very briefly, Forest Park High School. While studying there, she took singing lessons, and by her teenage years, she was dancing in musicals and doing her own choreographing for the school's theater. Her eventual aspiration was to go to Los Angeles and sign a record deal. By the gentle age of only fifteen, Carmen was on her way to grasp her dream.

How Started

Carmen moved to Minneapolis to stay with her sisters, and she made a living as a clothes model for Target department stores. After four years went by, Carmen decided to move to Los Angeles .After moving to California, she met singer Prince, she signed a recording contract with Paisley Park Records, Prince's company. In 1992, after auditioning for Prince, Carmen was signed to his Paisley Park Records label. Despite all of Prince's efforts in helping Carmen , her first album was a flop. Carmen did not fail courage and appeared on the Nickelodeon show, "ALL THAT". In 1995, Electra started appearing in various television programs. In March of 1996, Carmen took a huge step forward and posed nude for Playboy.

Personal life

Electra was in the past passionately involved with rap star B Real of Cypress Hill from 1995 to 1998. Electra gained exposure during her marriage to basketball star Dennis Rodman from 1998 to 1999. Later, she had a brief affair with Tommy Lee, the ex-husband of Pamela Anderson .On November 22, 2003, Electra married Dave Navarro, former lead guitarist for the rock bands Jane's Addiction and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
